Peak Performance = Quality of Presence

…How the missing link to your Peak Performance is the quality of your Presence…

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be at the top of your Game? The peak of your pinnacle? Maybe how it is to experience your greatest potential as a human being? Or perhaps, perform at a level where you are inspiring others to follow your lead, and expand on your life’s work?

Take a moment to ask yourself this very important question… How would it feel for you if – tomorrow – you woke up and were the best person you could be, for yourself? Your presence moved even the most insipid person, and you were able to breakthrough to the brilliance you embody.

This is very possible! With a lot of hard work, practice, perseverance and support from yourself and others.

Let’s talk about Peak Performance, what this looks like, and how we can achieve peak performance in our everyday lives and rituals to create a long-term vision and manifestation of success and happiness.

First of all, what is peak performance? Peak performance is a state that is also known as peak experience, and it is the zone of optimal functioning and flow. It refers to a moment when an individual has it ‘all together’, when they are in the zone, when everything flows in a unified direction, and when they achieve an exceptional performance. Believe it or not, to be in a vibration of effortless flow is actually possible on a permanent basis – with a few exceptions. Being in a flow state means that what you want or desire, is at the palm of your hands.

“Start by doing what’s necessary, then what’s possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.

~ Francis of Assisi

The epitome of peak performance is really about the quality and depth of your presence. In other words, it demands that we be fully present and engaged at every stage of our relationships, studies, work, business and careers. It is about holding a container of space and stillness within ourselves, not just in the moments we think are critical, but also in the moments leading up to them and afterwards.

The quality of your presence invites all the good things in life! Including creativity, deep and meaningful conversations, openness, innovation, inner-peace, connection with self and others, as well as longevity and sustained energy.

We look up to those who represent what it means to be successful in their chosen fields… e.g. Oprah Winfrey, Wayne Dyer, Steve Jobs, Richard Branson etc. They have a magnificent presence that exudes from them being in alignment to their truth and core purpose.

We can maximise our responses to any given situation by keeping grounded and focused in our ability to be calm, objective and present. This is most easily accessible when someone has worked inside and within the layers of themselves, including the heights and the depths of both exceptional and disastrous life experiences.

“Being relaxed, at peace with yourself, confident, emotionally neutral, loose, and free-floating – these are the keys to successful performance in almost everything. “

~ Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

Now, how do we build on our presence so that we are able to work at our peak energy level?  It begins with the patience and willingness to accept responsibility for your life and for your self-empowerment. People are rushing around everywhere, with their minds constantly focused on the next task or the ‘new’ thing. Instead, you are being encouraged to slow down and self-reflect on what it is you truly want in life, and how you can build your container to create room for more energy, for what really matters.

Building on the quality of your presence isn’t a task that takes a minute, or a day, or a month. It is something that requires an individual to be constantly committed to their wellbeing, and striving to do so in what could be seen as a celebration of a broader purpose for their life, for their potential, or for their reason for being.

Whilst we don’t always know what this purpose or reason is – we do know from many years of research and philosophies that we reap what we sow, and so it is worth paying attention to how our levels of mindfulness and awareness both at work, our personal lives, and in all relationships, plays a key influence as to whether or not we are getting the most out of life – or letting it drag us along.

Achieving peak performance through the quality of our presence is more than just a mindset. It is something that we embody, and express. It is the energy that speak for us without any words. Wouldn’t you like to know what your energy says about you and learn strategies on how to increase your self-confidence and your ability to inspire people from all walks of life? Whether it be at work, in school or wherever your ambitions take refuge?

Being a Leader is not an easy path, but it is definitely one that is worthwhile and wonderful.
